Steve Martin

Steve Martin was most recently the President of Pace Harmon, Inc., a consulting firm he co-founded in 2004 and sold in 2020. In addition to managing the firm, he spent over 75% of his time serving clients with respect to their IT outsourcing / insourcing and supply chain initiatives, across a wide range of industries, including managed healthcare, pharma, and insurance. Prior to Pace Harmon, he was a Senior Partner with Deloitte Consulting for 13 of his 20 years with the firm, specializing in IT strategy and operations, outsourcing advisory services and supply chain management. While at Deloitte, Steve built the firm’s Telecommunications and Managed Services Procurement practice to one of the largest in the industry in less than 4 years and led the practice for 15 years.

Steve’s primary expertise centers on IT infrastructure and services sourcing. He is a recognized authority in the areas of contract negotiations and in structuring transactions for technology related products and services. He has also helped numerous clients design and implement their strategic sourcing frameworks. Steve has assisted clients in executing more than 100 transactions totaling over $15B in spend for such organizations as UnitedHealth Group, HCA, Ascension, Capsugel, Delta Airlines, Merrill Lynch, AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Allstate, PNC Bank, Ford Motor, Cigna, General Motors, Nestle Foods, Oracle, Sprint, Target Stores, Proctor & Gamble, and FDIC.

Steve holds a BS in Applied Mathematics from The American University and a MS in Engineering from the University of Colorado.
