Emma joined Bench International in 2021 as Vice President, Executive Recruitment. She specializes in building senior leadership and C-suite teams for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across R&D, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Devices, and Business Development.
Emma brings deep expertise in cross-border executive search. Born and raised in China, she is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Japanese and partners with U.S. and Asia-based life sciences organizations to build leadership teams across major global innovation centers.
Prior to joining Bench, Emma held leadership roles with leading life sciences search firms, including serving as Director and Head of China Business Development. She led executive recruitment and client development for China-based companies expanding into the United States, placing senior and C-suite leaders for emerging biotechnology companies and global enterprises.
Emma holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Kyorin University in Tokyo and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in Arlington, Virginia.
